How do you know what items are being offered in the auction and when?
Before each auction, which the Sýpka Auction House organizes three to four times a year, an auction catalogue is published, which is available both in printed and online form. Before the auction, the objects are exhibited at the pre-auction exhibitions in Prague and Brno. If you wish to receive a catalogue or other notice on our auction, please fill out a short form.
Are you interested in buying an item at auction?
To auction a selected item, you have several options for participating in the auction. The most popular option is personal participation in the auction, but you have more options.
Personal participation
The auction takes place in the Žofín Palace in Prague, starting at 13:30. From 12:30 there is an exhibition of auctioned items and registration of auctioneers. Upon signing an affidavit in the place of the auction venue, an auction number is given to the auctioneer. At the end of the auction, the auctioneer has the option to pay the total amount on the spot and at the same time to take over the auctioned item or to pay the deposit on the spot and to pay the relevant amount at the latest within ten days of the end of the auction. The subject will be issued after payment of the full amount.
Auction by telephone or at the limit
Whoever is interested can participate in the auction by phone or auction at a predetermined limit. In such a case, it is necessary to fill in and send the Power of Attorney in advance to be represented at the auction. The auctioned item will be issued to the auctioneer immediately after the total price has been paid, not later than ten days after the end of the auction.
Auction online
The auction can also be online via the livebid.cz portal where the auctioneer can register. As in the case of a Limit or Telephone auction, the auctioned item is issued to the auctioneer immediately after the total price has been paid, not later than ten days after the end of the auction.
