Jiří Černický is one of the most prominent representatives of the generation that

J. Černický graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in 1990-1993
Arts and Crafts in Prague in the studio of Adela Matasová and in the years
1993-1997 Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the studio of Miloš Šejn
and Jiří David. In 1998 he was awarded the Jindřich Chalupecký Prize.
He worked for many years as the head of the painting studio at the Academy of Fine Arts.
2016, a large solo exhibition entitled Wild Dreams was held in the gallery
Rudolfinum.
