In 1940 the Butterfly Chair was exhibited at the third Salon de Artistas Decoradores interior design in Buenos Aires. The design of the chair was awarded several design awards. In 1941, a trio of designers were awarded Acquisition Prize, awarded by the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
