The sprayed décor technique developed at the turn of 1883 and 1884 in the USA. In 1889 it was presented at the world exhibition in Paris, where it enjoyed great popularity. The technique was embraced by the Bauhaus movement, which essentially influenced the production of local applied ceramics. The ceramic works in Germany and later in the surrounding countries used templates with abstract patterns to create various types of pots and pans under the strong influence of contemporary art movements, such as the above-mentioned Bauhaus, de Stijl, constructivism and suprematism.
